These innovative mirrors help prevent accidents by alerting drivers around the SUV. When a turn signal is activated, a high-intensity red LED chevron flashes through the glass of the corresponding side mirror to alert drivers in the "blind spots." When hazard lights are activated, signals flash in both mirrors. The mirrors function as regular rearview mirrors whether the signals are on or not.
