FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
November 9, 1998 Video Demonstrates How Signal® Mirrors Perform |
| Sheboygan, WI -- Muth Mirror Systems is making
available a video that demonstrates how their innovative product Signal®
mirrors function. The video shows how Signal® mirrors
can help prevent lane-changing and merging accidents. A heated Signal Mirror® option is shown in a time-lapse sequence. The signal intensity of day versus night is compared as well as the signal that surrounding drivers see versus the tell-tale display the driver of the Signal Mirror® equipped vehicle sees. Signal® mirrors use high intensity lights to change ordinary exterior rearview mirrors into safety features that command attention. When a turn signal is activated, a flashing chevron appears in the corresponding side mirror to alert drivers in the blind spot. The mirrors operate as regular rearview mirrors when the turn signals are activated or not. "Requests for printed literature about our Signal Mirror® product are great. We're excited that we can now offer a video that tells the entire story to those interested in seeing how the product works," said Kristi Lawrence, Sales Manager, Muth Mirror Systems. "We'll be incorporating parts of the video into our web site." K. W.
