FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 14, 1999 Signal® Mirrors Available for The Silverado Truck |
| Sheboygan, WI -- Signal® mirrors are available for the very popular Chevrolet Silverado. Signal® mirrors are an innovative accessory that attracts attention while at the same time protecting against accidents. When a turn signal is activated a high intensity flashing chevron appears in the corresponding side mirror to alert drivers in the blind spots around and behind the truck. Mirrors always function as traditional rearview mirrors whether the turn signals are activated or not. When hazard lights are used, both mirrors flash a warning chevron. A 1999 Silverado pickup must already have power mirrors to allow for a retrofit; if it also has heated mirrors a separate kit is available with that feature. Each kit comes complete with one left and one right hand Signal Mirror® glass subassembly (thus allowing the external housing to remain entirely intact), a wiring kit and installation instructions. Professional installation is recommended. "The Silverado has been named the OE Motor Trend Truck of The Year and is very popular as evidenced by the large number already on the road. We had a great demand to retrofit the truck with Signal® mirrors. Truck owners look for unique products and lighting/electronic accessories are some of their favorites," says Kristi Lawrence, Marketing Manager of Muth Mirror Systems. K. W.
