Sheboygan, WI -- Signal® mirrors, manufactured by Muth Mirror Systems, are now available for some of the most popular passenger cars including the Chrysler 300M, Honda Accord (2 door model) and Pontiac Grand Prix.

Signal® mirrors are an innovative accessory that attracts attention while protecting against accidents.  When a turn signal is activated a high intensity flashing chevron appears in the corresponding side mirror to alert drivers in the blind spots around and behind the car.  Mirrors always function as traditional rearview mirrors whether the turn signals are activated or not.  When hazard lights are used, both mirrors flash a warning chevron.

For a car to be retrofit with Signal® mirrors it must already have power mirrors.  For all three cars, the Chrysler 300M, Honda Accord and Pontiac Grand Prix, retrofit kits are available for model years 1998-99.  Additionally, when ordering a kit for the Chrysler 300M the car must also have heated mirrors.

Each retrofit kit comes complete with one left and one right hand Signal Mirror® glass subassembly (thus allowing the external housing to remain entirely intact), a wiring kit and installation instructions.  Professional installation is recommended.
