Ford Mustang Can Now Have Signal® Mirrors

Sheboygan, WI -- The Signal Mirror® Safety System is now available for the Ford Mustang.  Signal® mirrors are an innovative accessory that attract attention while at the same time protecting against accidents.  When a turn signal is activated a high intensity flashing chevron appears in the corresponding side mirror to alert drivers in the "blind spots" around and behind the car.  These mirrors function as traditional rearview mirrors whether the turn signals are activated or not.  When hazard lights are used, both mirrors flash a warning chevron.

A Mustang must already have power mirrors to allow for a retrofit.  Kit #200-0066-0 is available for Mustang model years 1999 and 2000.  The suggested retail price is $199.00.  Each kit comes complete with one left and one right hand Signal Mirror® glass subassembly (thus allowing the external housing to remain entirely intact), a wiring kit and installation instructions.  Professional installation is recommended.

"The Mustang is truly a classic car.  Typically owners like to accessorize theirs and Signal® mirrors allow them to include this innovative safety feature that commands attention," says Kristi Lawrence, Marketing Manager of Muth Mirror Systems.
