Signal® mirrors use high intensity lights to change ordinary exterior rearview mirrors into safety features that command attention.  When a turn signal is activated, a flashing chevron appears in the corresponding side mirror to alert drivers in the blind spot.  The mirrors function as regular rearview mirrors whether the turn signals are activated or not.  When hazard lights are used, both mirrors flash a warning chevron.

Model years of Dodge vehicles that Signal Mirror® retrofit kits are available for vary by vehicle, but cover 1997 through 1999.  A vehicle must currently be equipped with power mirrors in the 6 x 9 mirror style to allow for a Signal® mirror retrofit.  A heated mirror option is also available.
