Signal® mirrors use high intensity lights to change ordinary exterior rearview mirrors into safety
features that command attention. When a turn signal is activated, a flashing chevron appears in the
corresponding side mirror to alert drivers in the "blind spots" around and behind your vehicle.
The mirrors operate as regular rearview mirrors whether the turn signals are activated or not.

Drivers in the colored "blind spots" are alerted of the
intentions of a vehicle equipped with Signal® mirrors.
Improved Reaction Time
Signal® mirrors illuminate faster than
conventional tail lamps.
NHTSA reports in the USA alone that there is a lane change/merging traffic accident EVERY 88 seconds.  2005 statistics show that every 8.5 minutes one of these results in an injury or fatality. Signal® mirrors are positioned at the eye level of adjacent drivers making them more noticeable than conventional tail lights. With the increased popularity of taller vehicles, i.e. SUV's, trucks and mini-vans, a turn signal from the tail lamp may be "hidden" by these larger vehicles. The high intensity light from the Signal® mirror may be the only visible indicator to drivers two or three cars back. Signal® mirrors use LED lamps which illuminate 1/5 of a second faster than conventional incandescent tail lights. This provides drivers in the "blind spot" of the Signal® mirror equipped vehicle an additional 17 feet of reaction distance when traveling at 65 m.p.h. Thus, unlike other accessories that soften an accident, Signal® mirrors actually may help prevent one.

Driver Awareness
This animation shows that the driver
sees only a subtle tell-tale display.

Signal® mirrors use high-intensity LED lamps to turn ordinary exterior rearview mirrors into safety features that command attention. When a turn signal is activated, a flashing chevron appears in the corresponding side mirror to alert drivers in the "blind spot" of your intentions.

When emergency hazard flashers are used, both mirrors flash warning signals. The mirrors function as conventional rearview mirrors whether the signals or hazards are activated or not.

While surrounding drivers see a bright, attention-getting display, the driver of the vehicle equipped with Signal® mirrors sees only a subtle tell-tale display - a reminder the mirror is activated.
